Cheshire Fest is an independent event that promotes local bands and businesses. As it’s grown in scale (and popularity) over the years, they were in need of stewarding support to ensure it continued to be safe and enjoyable for all.

The roles


Based in the small town of Cheadle, the festival needed a large number of traffic marshalls and operations managers. These individuals would monitor the event and balance the needs of the local community with that of the festival-goers. What’s more, they would collect payment for parking and ensure the safety of all vehicles.

What we provided


A comprehensive stewarding service that kept all members of the public safe while simultaneously ensuring that the local community was happy. Traffic was kept in order and, with the help of our team, Cheshire Fest secured investment all round.

With no complaints, the stewarding team acted as a point of contact, oversaw security and managed the flow of people and cars. In the background, we had a team of operations staff working in unison to support the festival.

Cheshire Fest has grown in name and number over the past four years and continued to rely on hap for all their stewarding support.
